4 Teams are racing for the President Trophy

So the playoofs are coming soon and we already have 4 teams that have clinched a playoff spot.

New York Rangers

Nashville Predators

Anaheim Ducks

Montreal Canadiens

These 4 teams add an incredible year this season. I will talk about why they deserved to bein the playoffs this year.

The New York Rangers

So the Rangers had Henrik Lundqvist injured for months and they needed backup goalie Cam Talbot.

Cam Talbot is considered the best backup goalie of the NHL right now. It's not only because of Cam Talbot they got that playoff spot. With the help of there teamates Rick Nash, Derick Brassard, Mats Zuccarello, Kevin Hayes, Keith Yandle, Ryan McDonagh, Kevin Klein and more. Even If the Rangers lost in the Stanley Cup Final, they showed us that they still have a chance to win the stanley cup this year.

The Nashville Predators

The Predators were a big suprise this year with the additions of Mike Ribeiro and James Neal and fellow Rookie Filip Forsberg, that help them alot in offense this year. Not only the offense helped them this season: Defense and Goaltending helped them like Shea Weber, Roman Josi and Goalie Pekka Rinne.

Nashville are known for there great Defense. Normally Shea Weber is there best defensemen but, Roman Josi had a great season this year and has more ice time than Weber this year and they also have the best Defense Pair of the league. Even they lost alot of there games home they still are the best in there divison.

The Anaheim Ducks

The Ducks are an incredible team like always and they are always in the race for the president trophy each year and they end up not having it. Not only Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry lead this team, they had help from Matt Belesky, Ryan Kesler and Frederik Andersen. Matt Belesky was a big surprise this year with alot of goals this year, Ryan Kesler did a good season like always and Frederik Andersen has proven he is there number one goalie right now. Ryan Getzlaf still is the one with the most points in the team. The Ducks are still one the best hockey team in California this year.

The Montreal Canadiens

The Candiens lost alot of leadership this year, but still had one of there best year so far. Even with no captain this year there are the best team inthe eastern conference. They have alot of great players in there team like Tomas Plekanec, P.K. Subban, Andrei Markov, Brendan Gallagher, Dale Weise and more. But the real great players in this team are Carey Price and Max Pacioretty. Max Pacioretty has proven he is ready to be the next captain of this team and has hepled them alot with there sucess this year. Carey Price Is having the best season of his carer, he is considered the best player in the world, If we wasn't there the Montreal Canadiens would not be this good this season, he is leading all the Goaltending Categories in the NHL right now.
