So yesterday, The Vancouver Canucks claimed a playoff spot because the Kings lost 4-2 to the Edmonton Oilers and The Minnesota Wild claimed a playoff spot by defeating the Chicago Black Hawks 2-1. Here are the reasons why they earned a playoff spot.

The Vancouver Canucks got to the series because of the help of there new coach Willie Dejardains. He helped them alot this year, remember last year with John Torterella. Thats why they were bad last year but they have proveen they were going to go to the playoff and they did. Also they got a new GM and he got from the Free Agents players: Radim Vrbata, Nick Bonino and Ryan Miller. With these players they got alot of help. Even if Ryan Miller is injured right now, They got Eddie Lack who's been helping the team alot so they had a great year.

The Minnesota Wild got to the series because of Devan Dubnyk. Dubnyk was the missing piece to the teams sucess. He got 6 shutouts in 10 games with the Wild that pretty amazing. SO Dubnyk helped them alot this year. Alson they got help from Zach Parise, Jason Zucker, Matt Dumba and others. Thomas Vanek wasn't good at the start of the season but he got good during the season and i don't know why people say he had a bad season this year.

Vancouver will probably but mostly play against the Galgary Flames in the first round which will be a great series between those 2 teams. It will be a great series and will have alot of fights.

Minnesota will probably face against St- Louis or Nashville. But probably St- Louis will be against Minnesota. They face sometimes in the season but it will be a kinda weird Series between those 2 teams but it will be intrestting to see.

Thanks for reading and have a great day :)
