Pittsburgh Penguins Claimed Playoff Spot

So tonight, the Pittsburg Penguins claimed the last playoff spot by defeading the Buffalo Sabres 2-0.

Here are the reasons why they made the playoffs.

The Penguins had a pretty ruff season this year. They almost didn't do the playoffs this year. They got alot of injured players like Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Kris Letang, Christian Ehroff and many more. They got David Perron from a trade which helped the team, so that he can replace Pascal Dupuis and Chris Kunitz. They had a hard season this year and it's been like that since they have there new coach. People say that Crosby and Malkin might play there last game together in the Playoffs.

The Penguins will face the New York Rangers in the first round. It will be hard for them to play against them. The Rangers won the President's Trophy so they will be hard to play against but will still be a great series.
