So Friday, The Tampa Bay Lightning defeated The New York Rangers 2-0 and eliminated them 4-3 in the series. Here are the reasons why they won the series.

Tampa Bay playeds there hearts out in this series New York also played that hard. They both deserved that much succes this year but only one team between them could go to The Stanley Cup FInals. It had to be decided in Game 7 and Tampa Bay won the series. Players like Tyler Johnson, Nikita Kucherov, Steven Stamkos, Alex Killorn and many more helped the team to go that far. Ben Bishop was really lucky during the entire playoffs but now he is in the Stanley Cup Finals. The New York Rangers deserved it to but they didn't win and they got eliminated. Henrik Lundqvist was the MVP of this series and was the best goaltender of the Playoffs.
