So I didn't do free agency articles but I will do It so heres is The Top 12 Players that got payed the most.
Vladimir Tarasenko

After Is amazing Post Season with The St-Louis Blues, He reached 73 points this season. Incredible, his entry level contract just finished so they had to sign him. He signed with the St-Louis Blues a 8 year deal for 60 millions $ ( 7.5 millions$/year). He deserved this contract and he is the most payed player of the entire St-Louis franchise. He has an amazing talent and he is here to stay with the Blues. I saw in an other article that a team in the KHL offered him a 3 year deal for 33 millions $, thats 11 millions $ per year. He couldv'e been the most payed hockey player in the world and he decided to stay with his team in St-Louis.
Brandon Saad

After being traded to Columbus because of the Salary Cap issuses in Chicago, He signed a 6 year deal of 36 millions $ (6 millions $/year) with The Columbus Blue Jackets. He also finished his entry level contract this year and after having 3 amazing seasons and 2 Stanley Cups with Chicago, he deserves this contract, he will now play with Ryan Johansen and Nick Foligno probably the year coming and he's going to be a great guy to pick in Fantasy hockey.
Andrej Sekera

After being traded from The Carolina Hurricanes to The Los Angeles Kings on the Trade Deadline, Sekera wanted to stay with the Kings but they didn't have enough money for him so he decided to sign a 6 year 33 millions $ contract (5.5 millions $/year) with The Edmonton Oilers. He is a great fit for the Oilers because they need great D and they got some and he is going to be there top 2 Defenseman for this team.
Michael Frolik

He wanted alot of money and Winnipeg didn't want to give him alot because he isn't a top foward but he is still a good player. He decided to sign a 5 year 21.5 millions $ deal (4.3 millions $/year) with The Calgary Flames. He will help the team but I think he is payed way to much for a player like him.
Craig Smith

He is a great player but shouldn't have a contract like that. He signed a 5 year 21.25 millions $ contract (4.25 millions $/year) with The Nashville Predators. He is a great player but deserves like a 3 year deal rather then a 5 year deal.
Paul Martin

The Pittsburg Penguins didn't have alot of money for Paul Martin so he had to go with another team. He signed a 4 year 19.4 millions $ contract (4.85 millions $/year) with The San Jose Sharks. He is going to help The Sharks in Defense and will be a great player for the team. It's a good contract but couldv'e had less money in my opinion.
Matt Beleskey

After having his best post season, The Anaheim Ducks didn't want to give him the amount of money he wants. So he signed a 5 year 19 millions $ contract (3.8 millions $/year) with The Boston Bruins. He will help the team alot next season and his contract his good for a player like him but he is a risk because he just had one good season.
Mike Green

After saying he wanted to play in Washington for the rest of his carrer and to die there but Washington didn't have the money for him and they didn't want him back. He signed a 3 year 18 millions $ contract (6 millions $/year) with The Detroit Red Wings. Detroit always wanted Mike Green and they got him. He is the missing piece of this team and will lead the team to succes. A great contract for Mike Green.
François Beauchemin

After The Anahiem Ducks aquired Kevin Bieska, that mean't that Beauchemin would leave the team. So he signed a 13.5 millions $ contract (4.5 millions $/year) with The Colorado Avalanche. He will help the team but will not be a big impact on the team but will help the team. The contract fits perfect for him and Colorado is on the rise of winning.
Joel Ward

Washington didn't need his services anymore so he needed to find a new team. So he signed a 3 year 9.825 millions $ contract ( 3.275 millions $/year) With The San Jose Sharks. He will probably play on there top 6 and he was a good player to sign, i taught he could have more money but San Jose got him for cheap.
Johnny Oduya

After Chicago aquired Trevor Daley from Dallas, Johnny Oduya knew he would not stay. There were lots of rumours about him going to Buffalo or Dallas. But he decided to sign a 2 year 7.5 millions $ contract (3.75 millions $/year) with The Dallas Stars. He will help the team alot and will still play with Patrick Sharp and now Dallas are going to be a hard team to play against.
Antoine Vermette

After being traded to Chicago and winning the cup, he decided to go back with The Arizona Coyotes by signing a 2 year 7.5 millions $ contract (3.75 millions/year). I don't know why he's going back to Arizona for less money. Maybe because no one wanted him and he still had his house there so it's a good decision to stay in Arizona.
Thanks for reading and have a great night :)
