NHL Playoffs Predictions 2016

So I didn't do an article in a long time so i'm doing one today. So this will be about some of my predictions for this year in the NHL. I will talk about teams that are going to the playoffs right away, teams not going, teams we don't know and teams that could surprise us. Here is the list.
Teams going for sure
The Florida Panthers
The Panthers are having an incredible post season this year with the help of there new coach Gerrard Gallant and there talented players like Aleksander Barkov, Aaron Ekblad, Jaromir Jagr, Jonathan Huberdeau, Roberto Luongo and more. They will be a hard team to beat in the playoffs. They were a team that nobody expected them to be this good. With 63 points and leading the Atlantic Division, Florida will be a team to watch when the playoffs are near.
The Washington Capitals
The Capitals are the best team in the league right now with 74 points. They finally found a right winger to play with Alex Ovechkin and Nicklas Backstrom and i'ts T.J. Oshie. They also have Justin Williams that helped the team alot. The MVP of this team is Braden Holtby. He is already going to win the Vezina Trophy for the best goalie in the league. They are many favorites to win the Stanley cup this year, but they never went to the conference finals. We will see If this year will be there year.
The Chicago Blackhawks
They will always be one of the best teams in the league. Patrick Kane Is having the best year in his NHL career by scoaring for 26 games consecutive. He is the best american player to do this. They also got rookie Artemi Panarin who helped alot this team. They have the best line; Panarin- Anisimov- Kane. Corey Crawford also having a great year. Don't be suprised if this team wins another Stanley Cup.
The Los Angeles Kings
After a dissapointing season last year (not making the playoffs), They are now the best team in the Pacific Divison. Anze Kopitar always being a beast on the ice. Jonathan Quick also is a beast like always. They now have 63 points. In my opinion they already clinched a playoff spot. Kopitar just signed his multiyear contract, so he gets motivated even more. won't be surprised if they go to the Stanley Cup Finals.
Teams not going for sure
The Toronto Maple Leafs
Not surprising, even with the best coach in the league they still suck. every player in there team is in the market except Morgan Rielly. The player representing Toronto in the All-Star Game is Leo Komarov, This why they suck so bad. Even PA Parenteau Is one of there best player. They sent Jonathan Bernier in the AHL and he came back and he is okay. James Reimer was amazing this year but injuries kept him out of the ice. Maybe one day they will be a good team.
The Columbus Blue Jackets
We all taught with Brandon Saad coming in Columbus they will be a beast team. Nope. Sergei Brobovsky is always injured and there second goalie also is injured. Both AHL goalies are up in the NHL. They changed coach with John Torterella (now injured), and they traded Ryan Johansen for Seth Jones from the Nashville Predators, this trade will help there defense. Still, it's a dissapointing season this year for Columbus. BTW they are the worst team this year.
The Winnipeg Jets
It sucks that all the good teams are in the Central Division. Because of that the Winnipeg Jets are having a bad year. With only 47 points, they are the last team in the Central Division. There are also alot of rumours about Andrew Ladd, Dustin Byfuglien, Jacob Trouba because only 2 of them or 1 would stay with the team. Not having there best year but they will probably have a better chance next year.
The Edmonton Oilers
There was a time that we saw the Oilers in a wild card spot and now, they are at the bottom of the league. Connor McDavid came with the Oilers and got injured. And since then they still suck. They need good defense, it's not with Oscar Klefbom and Darnell Nurse you are going to win. They could use Ryan Nugent- Hopkins to get a top 2 defense in the team. Next year could be there year but it would probably not happen.
Teams We Don't Know
The Montreal Candiens
In the start of the season, they were the favorites to win the cup, but now they are the worst team in the NHL.I don't know what the fuck happened with this team. Since Carey Price got injured they were so bad. Max Pacioretty not being a great captain for this team, Andrei Markov is not getting younger so he need to play less, Tomas Plekanec not producing for this team and he his the one saying Montreal Is not Carey Price's team. But we all know it's true. So we don't know what will happen with this team.
The Pittsburg Penguins
After there stupid coach got fired, Mike Sullivan helped this team to get back to being good. Sidney Corsby is now playing like he used to. Evgeni Malkin playing like a beast, Kris Letang also. Phil Kessel isn't doing much for this team but they are still winning. So we don't know if they will make it or not to the Palyoffs.
The Nashville Predators
They are between going to the playoffs and not going. Pekka Rinne is not having his best year right now. There defense are still one of the best even tho they traded Seth Jones for Ryan Johansen from The Columbus Blue Jackets. Johansen will help there offense being better. They are still a good team but will they be in the playoffs ?
The Vancouver Canucks
The Vancouver Canucks are in a battle with San Jose and Arizona for a palyoff spot. Because The Central Division are all good teams, only 3 pacific teams will go to the Playoffs. Los Angeles are already in the playoffs. Vancouver needs to score and win more games. Daniel Sedin is still playing great hockey, and there is Jannik Hansen that surprised me. He is playing his best hockey right now. And we also have Jacob Markstrom growing and being a great goalie, so he could possibly steal Ryan Miller's place for the number one job.
Teams That Will Suprise Us
The New Jersey Devils
We all taught they were going to be the team to probably have Austin Matthews in NHL Draft 2016 but they will not have him. They are close of a wild card spot and they could make the playoffs this year. With the incredible performences of Cory Schneider and Adam Henrique they are a great team. But the surprise was Kyle Palmieri, Mike Cammalleri and Lee Stempniak. Lee Stempniak was a steal from the market and he helped them alot. Kyle Palmieri is playing his best hockey and Mike Cammalleri is having a great season. So they could make the playoffs.
The Carolina Hurricanes
I don't know what is going on with this team but they could make the playoffs this year. With The All-Star Justin Faulk, they are a great team. There are rumours about Eric Staal getting traded but i don't think he will be traded after the performence of this team. Also, since Cam Ward got injured, Eddie Lack helped them alot and won alot of games. That means, Cam Ward will be with a new team next year. I would be suprised if they make the playoffs.
The Colorado Avalanche
Right now, if the playoffs were today, Colorado would make the Playoffs. In the beggening of the season they were losing alot but now they are winning alot. With the performences of Matt Duchene, Tyson Barrie, Jarome Iginla, Nathan MacKinnon, they are getting stronger and are hard to play agaisnt them.
The Arizona Coyotes
I knew that Max Domi and Anthony Duclair would put this team to a good postion in the standings. They could make the playoffs but they have San Jose, Anaheim and Vancouver right behind them. Even with Mike Smith injured, Louis Domingue helped this team to win alot. Don't forget about Oliver Ekman-Larsson having a great season to. We shall see if they make the playoffs.
Here was my list about the NHL Playoffs. For the surprising teams there a 2 Metropolitan teams because they were nothing special in the Atlantic Division.
